D&I was established in 2021 in Athens, Greece, aspiring to promote equal opportunities and diversity respect in the workplace and in the society, by promoting the Diversity in the workplace Charter and organizing initiatives and projects in compliance with its principles and by promoting the values of respect, tolerance and equality among European citizens. Its ultimate goal is to develop an inclusive labor market and society in which equal opportunities are offered to all their members, diversity is respected and no form of discrimination and intolerance takes place. It is a non-profit association, a legally constituted organization which expressly prohibits the distribution of any profit.

KEAN was founded in 2005 in Athens, Greece aiming the development and implementation of humanitarian programs for the protection of the social and physical environment. Its ultimate goal is upgrading the lives of young people and vulnerable social groups, combating social exclusion and poverty, promoting a better organized society with respect for human rights and the environment and promoting volunteering spirit and familiarity with the new technologies. It is a non-profit association, a legally constituted organization, operating independently of any government, and which expressly prohibits the distribution of any profit. It has branches in 2 Greek cities, 80 paid staff, 60 official members and around 80 active volunteers.

Fondazione Libellula is a social enterprise committed to preventing and combating gender violence by fostering cultural change that involves workplaces, institutions, communities and families. We plan pioneering training courses on critical issues such as unconscious stereotypes, respectful language, shared parenting, empowerment, and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).

The foundation also carries out projects of high social impact, including:

  • The training of public health workers in A&E and hospitals to recognise and manage signs of violence;
  • Initiatives for helping women at risk or coming out of the cycle of violence return to work;
  • Spazio Libellula is a dedicated centre serving the Milan area. It is the first port of call for support and awareness-raising.

Fondazione Libellula helps build a more equitable and respectful society for all, taking a practical and inclusive approach.

Fondazione Soleterre works to ensure recognition and application of the right to health in its broadest sense.

As such, in addition to providing treatment and medical care, it is committed to preventing, denouncing and combating inequalities and violence.

Through the “Work IS Progress” programme, it is dedicated to integrating the most vulnerable into society and employment, with the aim of enabling everyone to find a job and keep it over time.

The foundation operates with a multidisciplinary team of job counsellors, legal consultants and psychologists, together with linguistic and cultural mediators, to take charge of the needs of the individual and their household and to improve their living conditions, working on all aspects that hinder effective integration into the world of work. “Work IS Progress” is also aimed at companies, with awareness-raising activities, corporate volunteering and the structuring of inclusion programmes that help identify and train the professionals needed by the company.

Fondazione Sodalitas is a network of companies and people that consider Sustainability to be a key factor for growth and development. It was set up in 1995 by the entrepreneurial association Assolombarda, establishing itself as the first organisation in Italy to promote Corporate Sustainability. It is committed to strengthening business leadership for sustainable development. With its member companies, it forges multi-stakeholder partnerships that generate social value for the development of people and communities. Fondazione Sodalitas promotes the Italian Diversity Charter (Charter for Equal Opportunities and Equality at Work), which was launched in 2009 with the support of the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policies and the Minister for Families and Equal Opportunities. The 10 concrete actions listed in the Charter cover the priorities identified by the EU, focusing in particular on creating and improving women’s employment policies. More than 1000 organisations, employing over one million workers, have already signed the Charter.
